Honored to have one of my most memorable wildlife portraits in the November issue of N-Photo Magazine. On a day in which the wildlife of the world received coverage because the numbers of mammals, birds and fish declined by an average of 58% between 1970 and 2012 (source: World Wildlife Federation and the Zoological Society of London). A few of the goals I have set forth through my photography are to change the hearts and minds of those who do not care about or appreciate wildlife, educate those who are uninformed about wildlife, and to be a bridge to those who do not have the access or ability to see the wildlife of this world before it’s gone. Thank you N-Photo! Simply the best magazine dedicated to professional Nikon photographers.
Completely honored to have two images (“Fall and Winter“, and “Eyes Water“) selected for National Geographic’s “Daily Dozen!” Even more speechless to have “Eyes Water” make it to their Top Shot Editor’s Spotlight Feature, not to mention winning a year’s subscription to National Geographic. So very cool. Thank you so much National Geographic!! I’m very thankful and honored.
Check out the Popular Photography website, click the image below. They have a really cool “Blog: Mentor Series” workshop below, bottom left SUP board image. I shot the aerial image with a Nikon D810 attached to a Nikkor 24mm f/1.4. For the SUP image, I used a Nikon 1 J3 and water housing. Good stuff.
